This is one of my favourite photos. this is dry soil that has been gently vibrated out of a rug using my RugBadger machine. Every rug goes through this process before any water is put onto the rug.
Its real simply, I lay a grid on the floor, place the rug upside down on the grid and then proceed to use the RugBadger on it until it has vibrated out all the dry damaging soil.
Its the same princple your grandmother used to do but she used a rug beating stick, and it was hard work!
